Privacy policy
Your trust includes how we handle your information.
This policy explains how information submitted through the Kuyera 1000 Legacy Campaign donor-and-vision-partner form is intended to be collected, used, protected, and managed. The form is an expression of interest only; it is not a donation or binding pledge.
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to provide: name, email address, optional telephone number, country, city, preferred communication method, how you would like to participate, optional relationship to Kuyera, optional graduation year, optional area of interest, optional nonbinding giving range, communication consent, and optional public-recognition consent.
2. How we use it
Authorized campaign organizers may use your information to confirm your interest, send campaign news and invitations, connect you with opportunities related to your selections, answer questions, plan responsible outreach, prevent duplicate records, protect the form from misuse, and maintain accurate administrative records.
3. What we do not do
Registration information is not a public pledge list. It is not sold. We do not display a community member’s name publicly unless that person separately checks the public-recognition permission. We do not publish contact information.
4. Consent and communication choices
Submitting the form requires consent to receive campaign communications because keeping prospective donors and vision partners informed is the purpose of the list. You may ask to unsubscribe or update your communication preference at any time by contacting donors@kuyera1000.org.
5. Storage and access
Registrations are stored in a protected database. Only authorized organizers can view or export registration information, and they may use it only for campaign work.
6. Duplicate and spam protection
The form includes safeguards that reduce automated spam, repeated submissions, and duplicate records. Information used for security is protected and is not displayed publicly.
7. Retention and deletion
Registration information is kept only as long as needed for campaign communication, administration, security, and applicable recordkeeping. You may request correction or deletion by contacting the campaign.
8. Service providers
Hosting, database, email, or communication providers may process information only as needed to provide those services. This policy will be updated if the way registration information is handled materially changes.
9. Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are intended to protect the campaign community list. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Suspected loss or misuse should be reported promptly to the campaign contact.
10. Questions and requests
For questions, access, correction, unsubscribe, or deletion requests, email donors@kuyera1000.org.
